Wide Bore MRI

The Siemens Espree MRI 1.5 Tesla delivers exceptional quality images, so a patient can rest easy inside and physician can rest easy with a confident diagnosis.
Some of the main advantages over other existing 1.5 T machines:
Exactly what the patient wants:
servicesThe extra-large circumference accommodates people of all sizes, including the elderly, children, and even those weighing up to 200-225 kg
servicesPerfect for those who get anxious or highly claustrophobic during an MRI.
servicesOne foot of spacious headroom; you won’t feel like you’re nose-to-nose with the top of the magnet.
servicesDue to its short design, many of exams can be done with head outside of the system.
servicesULTRA light weight coils for maximum patient comfort
servicesHead to toe scanning at one go, shorter scan times
servicesScanning comfortable even in Lateral position for respiratory distress patients
servicesPatient friendly ambience- theme lighting- music, for soothing & comfortability of patients
Software advances incorporated in Espree allow sharper and better image quality. This is the only MRI in the region equipped with dedicated breast coils to enable a much better diagnostic accuracy for patients.
Exactly what the physician wants:
servicesFull 1.5 Tesla strength high field magnet
servicesAdvanced Body MRI with single breath hold techniques
servicesTim Technology is providing unprecedented flexibility, accuracy & speed, reducing examination time by upto 50%.
servicesSyngo Blade – Motion artifacts correction software in non co-operative patients
servicesMR Angiography for intracranial, carotid, renal, and extremity arteries
servicesCardiac MRI – Morphology, Function, Viability, Quantitative Flow Volume, and Velocity
services2DSpace – For free breathing abdomen
servicesSyngo Space – enables the acquisition of high resolution 3D imaging , in contrast not possible before. High resolution images of Cranial nerves and Cochlea can be obtained. MR cholangiography can also be done using SPACE.
servicesDiffusion weighted imaging – DWI is a technique that allows one to measure restricted diffusion of water thru tissue.
servicesWhole body diffusion MRI – used for metastases screening. Comparable results with bone scan.
servicesDiffusion tensor imaging – DTI is a technique that allows one to measure restricted diffusion of water thru tissue in brain with tractography
servicesKyphosis, Scoliosis spine, Arthritic patients with joint deformities can be scanned.

Dual Source Dual Energy 2X64 slice

Atulaya Healthcare Provides computed tomography (CT) technology that uses two X-rays, giving physicians clearer images of the beating heart.
Better than even, 128-slice CT scans
The SOMATOM® Definition Dual Source Dual Energy (DSDE) CT system from Siemens Medical Solutions produces images with twice the resolution and speed of the most advanced single-source CT systems, up to 128-slice CT scans, all without the need for a patient to take medications to slow the heart.
Two X-ray tubes and an enhaced detector array
“Instead of one X-ray tube and one detector, this new machine has two X-ray tubes and an enhanced detector array, “What you are getting is more imaging power at one-half the radiation, which is a major advantage when performing these studies.”
Computed tomography (CT) takes a series of cross-sectional images one slice at a time in a full circle rotation. A computer then converts the rates of absorption and density of the X-rays into a picture.
Up to 50 percent less radiation exposure
Even though the DSDE CT uses two X-ray sources and offers twice the imaging power, it subjects patients to as much as 50 percent less radiation exposure than the most advanced single-source CT systems. The speed of the system gives physicians images in half the time while using special software that automatically reduces radiation to the lowest dose possible to the patient.
Faster than a heart beat
“The speed of this system is faster than a heart beat,”. “Each slice is acquired in 83 milliseconds. A scan that would take 10 to 15 seconds on a single-source CT will be completed in four to five seconds on this machine, and the image is much better. It really is a quantum leap in imaging technology.”
The dual source capability gives physicians images of the heart that help diagnose presence of plaque, narrowing of the arteries, calcium scoring and abnormal heart vessels at an early stage. Early diagnose of heart disease will definitely help in prevention of health.
The most advanced CT technology for High calcified arteries
“This enables us to bring the most advanced CT technology available to our patients having high calcium scoring. We are doing cardiac imaging irrespective of calcium score & providing physicians more accurate results for high calcified arteries.
In addition, the speed of the system and reduction in patient preparation time enable us to examine patients more efficiently and conveniently.”
Clear images without the use of beta blockers
The DSDE CT has helped make advanced cardiac CT exams accessible to patients who were not previously eligible because they have conditions that preclude the use of beta blockers, such as patients who have asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema or other conditions that affect breathing. Beta blockers can make these conditions worse by narrowing the air passages in the lungs.
The DSDE help to make faster and more confident diagnoses in emergency and acute care settings, particularly in examining patients with acute chest pain, abdominal pain, and suspicion of stroke. The highest image quality can be obtained when examining patients who are obese, short of breath or who have elevated heart rates. “We’re not trading speed for accuracy, we get a quantum leap in quality along with the greater speed.”
Will spur breakthroughs in clinical research
The Dual Source Dual Energy 64 slice CT’s enhanced abilities are expected to lead to new breakthroughs in clinical research. The dual source capabilities provide physicians the ability to perform exams at two different X-ray energy levels, which allows them to obtain diverse information about the anatomy in a single scan. Because X-ray energies interact differently with bone and soft tissue, physicians may be able to use the Definition to better differentiate and isolate these areas. Physicians will be able to further characterize and distinguish plaque levels on artery walls,
“We also may be able to better define specific lesions along parts of the coronary arteries using this dual energy method.”
